It’s time to fight for sight.

What We Do

To accomplish our mission, Eagle Oculus hosts a series of eyewear drives at schools and in the local communities of West Windsor, Plainsboro, Hamilton, and Princeton. Oftentimes, people have old glasses lying around in their houses so these drives accomplish a two-fold purpose of giving new purpose to unused eyewear while also benefiting those who need glasses but cannot afford them. You can help by donating glasses and spreading the word about this project. Each pair of glasses donated makes a difference.

Founder’s Bio

Sonika is a high school student who, unsurprisingly, wears glasses. In her free time, she loves to read, write, and paint. She’s from West Windsor, New Jersey. She first started this project because she noticed how her life would be drastically different without glasses as she could barely see without them and how it is a luxury to be able to pay for eye care. She also found many old glasses in her house from when she was younger, and she thought it wasn’t right to let them lie around while so many other people needed them. She wanted to make a difference in people’s lives by collecting old glasses from all over her community because that is where change starts.
